Our library began in 2009 by church members donating books from their homes. Since that time it has grown by leaps and bounds with a large selection of fiction titles, non fiction, and a smaller section for children and young adult. There is also a selection of DVDs and musical CDs as well as a few audio books.
If you own an E-Reader, I recommend a site called Inspired Reads (Christian Fiction of a Budget). They send out emails letting you know of e-books that are free or at a very low price.
Here is a great source to check out books or movies for the family. If you or someone you know likes to read comics or graphic novels, they have a list of over 30 authors who write them. They have a digital magazine that you may subscribe to free of charge.

Have you checked out the church library lately? Many new books and DVDs have been added as well as a few more audio books.
Remember – no formal checkout of items, usage is based on the honor system. Take it home to read, watch or listen, then return. Couldn’t be easier!
If you aren’t sure of what you might like to read, here are a few suggestions based on genres:
Amish Fiction: Beverly Lewis
Historical Fiction: Tracie Peterson, Lauraine Snelling, Robin Lee Hatcher, Lori Copeland, Julie Klassen
I particularly enjoyed The Ladies Shooting Club series by Susan Page Davis.
Contemporary: Karen Kingsbury
Mystery/Thriller: Steven James, Tim Downs, Ted Dekker, Mel Odom, Joe Hilley (set in Mobile)
Romantic Suspense: Lynette Eason, Dee Henderson, Brandilyn Collins
Recently I have discovered Christian Fantasy and would recommend these (found in the Young Adult section):
R.J. Larson Books of the Infinite series
Morgan Busse Follower of the Word series
Shannon Dittemore Angel Eyes series
Sigmund Brouwer Merlin’s Immortals series
If you have requests for the library, let me know and we will see what we can do.
